Description

Zebrafish Abcc12 is a member of the ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporter family, subfamily C. These transporters utilize ATP hydrolysis to move a variety of substrates across cellular membranes, including organic anions, lipids, and xenobiotics. Abcc12 is predicted to have multiple transmembrane domains and two nucleotide-binding domains characteristic of ABC transporters.
