Description

Transcription factor that seems to function synergistically with the POU domain protein TST-1/OCT6/SCIP. Could confer cell specificity to the function of other transcription factors in developing and mature glia (By similarity). [UniProt]

Application Notes

Optimal dilution of the SOX10 antibody should be determined by the researcher.

1. Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in pH 9 10mM Tris with 1mM EDTA for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min.

Immunogen

Amino acids 115-269 of the human protein were used as the immunogen for the SOX10 antibody.

Storage

Store the SOX10 antibody at 2-8oC (with azide) or aliquot and store at -20oC or colder (without azide).
