Description

Numb-like protein is a protein that in humans is encoded by the NUMBL gene. NUMBL [numb (drosophila) homolog-like] is functionally related to NUMB, a protein that plays an essential role in the determination of cell fate for sensory organ and neural development. Polyglutamine repeats in the NUMBL gene have been associated with schizophrenia in two unrelated populations. Alternate names for NUMBL include NBL, CAG3A, CTG3a, NUMBR, TNRC23, and NUMBLIKE.

Application Notes

Optimal dilution of the NUMBL antibody should be determined by the researcher.

Immunogen

An E.coli-derived human recombinant protein (amino acids R336-A537) was used as the immunogen for the NUMBL antibody.

Storage

After reconstitution, the NUMBL Antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
