Description

The N-terminal methionine excision pathway is an essential process in which the N-terminal methionine is removed from many proteins, thus facilitating subsequent protein modification. In mitochondria, enzymes that catalyze this reaction are celled methionine aminopeptidases.

Application Notes

Optimal dilution of the METAP1D antibody should be determined by the researcher.

Immunogen

An E.coli-derived human recombinant protein (Q36-A335) was used as the immunogen for the METAP1D antibody.

Storage

After reconstitution, the METAP1D antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
