KCNT1 protein plays a crucial role in regulating the electrical activity of neurons in the brain. Mutations in the KCNT1 gene have been linked to a rare form of epilepsy known as KCNT1-related epilepsy, as well as other neurological conditions such as intellectual disability and developmental delays. Recent studies have also found that this protein may play a role in other diseases, such as autism, schizophrenia, and even certain types of cancer.
The stated application concentrations are suggested starting points. Titration of the KCNT1 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
A portion of amino acids 1035-1061 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for the KCNT1 antibody.
Store the KCNT1 antibody at -20oC.
