Description

Irak4 is required for the efficient recruitment of IRAK1 to the IL-1 receptor complex following IL-1 engagement, triggering intracellular signaling cascades leading to transcriptional up-regulation and mRNA stabilization. Phosphorylates IRAK1 (By similarity).

Application Notes

Titration of the Irak4 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.

Immunogen

A portion of amino acids 422-449 from the mouse protein was used as the immunogen for this Irak4 antibody.

Storage

Aliquot the Irak4 antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
