COTL1 is one of the numerous actin-binding proteins which regulate the actin cytoskeleton. This protein binds F-actin, and also interacts with 5-lipoxygenase, which is the first committed enzyme in leukotriene biosynthesis.
The stated application concentrations are suggested starting points. Titration of the COTL1 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
A portion of amino acids 115-142 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for the COTL1 antibody.
Aliquot the COTL1 antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
